Chief Technology Officer

Gentry Barnett is the Chief Technology Officer at Space Tango. In this role, Gentry applies over a decade of experience in engineering management as she oversees a mission-oriented engineering team throughout strategic product development lifecycles. She defines and implements innovative engineering methods and policies that drive the development of automated solutions for health and technology applications in space. With the aspiration of expanding the field of medicine without the limitations of gravity, Gentry facilities the design, development, and operation of future use cases for microgravity R&D and manufacturing.

Before her current appointment, she designed injury prevention and rehabilitation devices for the sports medicine and spinal cord injury demographics. Gentry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
